Bally Beauty

The follow-on game to Frolics, Beauty kept the oddball scoring with the superscore bonus, but increased the payout amounts. corner scoring was an added feature on the center card only, and the roll-over buttons were changed to spot the numbers 2,4 and 6.

The significant new feature was select-a-spot. A knob on the front door could be rotated and the player could choose to spot on of 19,20,21, or 22 before the fourth ball was shot when this feature was enabled. After the fourth ball is shot, you can't change the number spotted. This is the first feature that made you stop to think a little, as you looked at the first three numbers, what numbers surrounded them, and decided whether to use your spot number to fill in a small winner or maybe spot a number that while not an instant win, it could lead to a much bigger score if you pocket the numbers you need in the next two balls.

three-card games

This type of game has three 5x5 bingo cards on the backglass.

Some games enable one card per coin/credit guaranteed, others enable the additional cards on mystery intervals.
